Sitecore Plugin v2.0 Upgrade

We are releasing version 2 of the Kajoo Sitecore Plugin. This update includes core improvements and changes to infrastructure support. It requires manual cleanup steps before installation. Please follow the steps below carefully to ensure a successful upgrade.

Pre-Installation Steps (Required Before Installing the Plugin)

Remove Existing Kajoo Config Files
On your Sitecore Content Management (CM) server, delete the following folder from the file system: /App_Config/Include/Kajoo.This folder contains the previous Kajoo plugin configuration files. If not removed, they may conflict with the updated version.
Clean Up Old Kajoo UI Items from Core Database
Using Sitecore Content Editor, navigate to the Core database and manually delete the following items:
- /sitecore/client/Your Apps/Kajoo
- /sitecore/client/Applications/Launchpad/PageSettings/Buttons/Kajoo
  Important: These UI components are not automatically replaced during the update. If they are not removed manually, Sitecore will skip installing new versions of these items during the update process.

Plugin Installation Steps

Once the cleanup is complete, you're ready to install the new version of the plugin.
