XM Cloud

Developers

Sitecore XM Cloud brings a significant change to plugin installation for Sitecore applications. Kajoo requires an app in your Sitecore launchpad to interact with your Sitecore environment, pulling and pushing information as needed. Because of this new approach, you must first install Kajoo changes in your local development environment before deploying them to your Sitecore instance.

There are two guides for installing the Kajoo plugin into your current or new Sitecore XM Cloud repository. In most cases, you should follow the guide marked as recommended, which details the steps to integrate Kajoo into a new or existing repository. While you can use the Kajoo XM Cloud Starter Template in some cases, this approach may not always use the latest version of the Sitecore Foundation Head repository that it is based on. Sitecore considers it best practice to always use the most recent version of this repository.

How to Know If We Are Using XM Cloud?

If you're unsure whether you're using Sitecore XM Cloud, visit the Sitecore Cloud Portal at https://portal.sitecorecloud.io and log in. If you don't see an XM Cloud environment or your login doesn't work, you'll likely need to refer to the instructions for getting started with Platform DXP. You can find these instructions here: XP/XM.
