Kajoo Agentic release · 4 November 2026

Pin what matters to the whole project, read more easily in dark mode, and let long agent work keep going for less.

Projects

  • Pin artifacts to the project. Click the bookmark on an artifact card in chat to add it to the project overview. Every chat in the project shows the same pinned artifacts, and the agents in those chats use them as context. Artifacts you pinned in a chat before now belong to its project.
  • Tasks is now Plan. The Plan panel has List, Board and Overview tabs. Overview lists the pinned artifacts. A migration artifact shows its phases and how many tasks are done.
  • Draft tasks are easier to read. They show a dashed outline instead of being faded.

Chat

  • A new chat box. It has rounder buttons and a cleaner model picker. On phones, the add, agent and model menus open as sheets from the bottom.
  • See what agents do at a glance. Each step shows its full text and only shortens when the line runs out of room. A command that simply finds nothing, such as a search with no match, now shows as finished instead of failed.
  • Chats stay live. If the connection drops, the chat reconnects on its own within seconds.
  • Follow sub-agents comfortably. Scrolling up in the sub-agent panel stays where you put it while the sub-agent works. On phones, View in Chat and the step lines respond to the first tap.
  • Answer with the keyboard. On a question card, Enter sends the answer you typed, or moves to the next question.

Long agent work

  • Long chats stay fast and cost less.
    • Kajoo measures a chat's size the way the AI provider counts it, and summarizes the chat when it really gets long.
    • Old tool results are cleared only when that saves money.
    • After a summary, agents carry on from their current task, the skill files they had read and your latest messages.
    • Agents read and update tasks with much smaller replies.
  • Long commands finish. Commands that run longer than five minutes no longer fail. Work an agent leaves running keeps going while it waits for your answer or approval.
  • Updated skills show up right away. After you update a skill or apply a recipe update, agents use the new files on their next step.

Look and feel

  • Dark mode is easier to read.
    • Small text is clearer.
    • The page, cards, dialogs and menus each have their own shade.
    • Tooltips follow the theme.
  • Your browser's text size applies. If you set a larger or smaller text size in your browser, Kajoo follows it.

Connections and recipes

  • Jira stays connected. Jira and other connections that sign in with OAuth no longer ask you to reconnect when several agents use them at the same time. If your Jira connection already asks you to reconnect, do it once.
  • New workspaces use Kajoo's own IP address. Sandboxes of new workspaces reach your systems from Kajoo's fixed production IP address, so a Sitecore instance that only allows that address works.
  • Sitecore Migration v3 (3.0.26). Use Recipe Sync to update. What's new:
    • Setup adopts an existing front-end-only Content SDK app, for example one hosted on Vercel, as the migration target.
    • New starter apps use Node 22.
    • Discovery hands the serialization scope to the next step again.
    • MVC analysis no longer needs a separately installed analyzer.

Also in these releases:

  • messages sent while sub-agents work no longer end the run
  • a backup model's answer is kept after a long chat is summarized
  • Connect Kajoo shows a clear message when an app's connection is out of date
  • Chrome on phones no longer offers saved passwords in the chat box
  • people with view-only access can no longer change a workspace's artifacts
  • small layout fixes in the sub-agent panel
